The Artwork SF Gallery will host an opening celebration for a show called "East Meets West". Join the first Thursdays art walk parade and enjoy some eastern-influenced art, including an exciting new painting of mine called "Red Leaf Quartet". A design studio in Portrero HIll, In Your Element will host an event for myself and two other local artists. The event will be at 300 Kansas, suite 101. Paintings will be shown in a large, airy space with Italian Modern furniture. Food, music and drinks provided!

The painting that has been gracing my kitchen, "Magic Angle", will be featured in a digital gallery on the web site of the American Juried Art Salon, a juried art competition sponsored by the National Gallery Owners Association.

Sunday, December 4th, 2005 11am - 6pm

I'm hosting a holiday party and art show at Hunter's Point. Come enjoy some holiday treats and enjoy the art of myself as well as several other local artists.
This time I will be in another studio in building 116. There is also a group show happening in building 101. Most of the traffic is going to be directed to building 101, so be sure to park in the building 116 parking lot so that you will have easy access to my show as well as the one in building 101. You should see balloons and a sign in the parking lot, but it is a different entrance than at my October show. (Call me if you are lost/confused).
IMPORTANT: please print your email invite (or ask me for one) so that you can show it to the guards. You may not need it but it may come in handy.

Here are directions to Hunter's Point, building 116:
- from San Francisco, take 101S to Ceasar Chavez east
- go to the traffic light, which will be Evans and turn RIGHT (sign is hard to see but it's the first light)
- Evans becomes Innes; keep going and cross 3rd street, all the way to the end
- Eventually you will see a guard station that can direct you to building 116

I'll be participating in Open studios at Hunter's Point! Everyone is invited to the special preview party on Friday night, which will be catered by Rubicon bakery.
Saturday and Sunday there will be hundreds of artists. Come out for the art and expect to spend the day wandering between beautiful and rustic buildings at the old naval shipyard (wear comfy shoes!) I'll be in building 116, which will be clearly marked from the entrance. If you park in one of the first parking lots, you can enter directly into my studio. Look for the balloons and signs welcoming everyone in. I'll provide light refreshments and a place to sit, as well as a large selections of paintings that are very different from other things I've ever done, most of which are not up on this site! You will still be able to find me if you look for big red paintings, but there will also be some cool greens and blues, as well as some non-landscapey themes. I'm very excited to share this new body of work!

I will be painting and displaying art at a unique art space called the the 4th Street Studio, which is located on 4th street in Berkeley. From 10-6 daily it is a gallery. It is also a work space for artists. It's just down the street from Peets, so grab a coffee beverage and come on by to observe the artistic process in motion or to browse finished works in the gallery space.
